Cartwright Pescatore, with a team composed of Virginie Lopes and Martín Santiváñez, assisted French company Epsilon Composite, based in Gaillan-en-Médoc, in the Gironde department, in the acquisition of Cometec S.r.l., its long-standing partner and Italian manufacturer of fiber rolls.
Lucia Sarasini, director of Cometec, said: “The merger with Epsilon Composite is the natural result of a long-standing collaboration based on trust and a shared vision. Nothing will change for our customers in their day-to-day business: the same contacts, the same organization, and the same quality of service will remain unaffected. However, they will benefit from significant technological progress thanks to the synergy with Epsilon Composite. This alliance will allow us to expand our offering, improve our processes, and strengthen our position in national and international markets.”
Stéphane Lull, founder and president of Epsilon Composite, added: “It is a great honor to pay tribute to the memory of Gianni and Silvia, founders of Cometec, by continuing this beautiful story of friendship and collaboration that began over 30 years ago. Thanks to this alliance, we are strengthening our joint capacity to innovate and improve the performance of our customers in Italy and around the world.”
This acquisition, financed with equity capital, allows Epsilon Composite to continue its international expansion and aims to consolidate the group’s position in the technical roll market in Europe while strengthening the supply chain and services offered to Italian customers.
