Cartwright Pescatore – with a team composed of Giacomo Pescatore, Eleonora Giacometti and Martín Santiváñez – for legal aspects, and Dr. Gianandrea Facchini of Studio Facchini for accounting and tax matters, assisted the sellers in the operation in which COME S.r.l., a company specialized in third-party production of products for medium and heavy mechanical constructions, and Metal Work S.r.l., a company active in sheet metal processing for the metalworking sector, have signed a binding agreement for the sale of a 75% stake in both companies to the Manitou Group, one of the world’s leading players worldwide in the handling, aerial work platform and earthmoving sectors.
These transactions will allow the group to integrate two important phases of the assembly of machines produced at the Manitou Group’s facility in Castelfranco (Emilia Romagna). The current partners and directors of the two companies will maintain an operational role in the companies. The acquisition of the majority stake will take effect at the beginning of 2024.
