The European Extreme Events Climate Index (E3CI) is a new tool which uses AI to measure climate-related weather risks.
The development of E3CI was supported by iFAB in cooperation with public and private entities, all of which are Italian (i.e. CNR, Leithà, a company part of the Unipol group, and CMCC). E3CI has been described by the World Economic Forum as “innovative, unique and useful”.
